The Inheritance Games Trilogy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Inheritance Games trilogy is one of my favorite trilogies I have ever read. While the first book was definitely my favorite, the second and third books were not far behind. The mystery, secrets, and questions continued throughout the entire trilogy, which kept me wanting to know more.
The reason the first book will always stand out the most to me is because it was the introduction to such an original story. I loved trying to figure out the characters, understand the Hawthorne family, and solve the mysteries alongside Avery. The major plot twist at the end of the first book made the story even more unforgettable.
I would 100% recommend reading the entire trilogy because if you only read the first book, you are missing out on so much. The secrets of the Hawthorne family only became crazier as the story continued. Learning more about the brothers, their past, and their hidden secrets was such a great addition to the story, especially the fact that each brother had different middle names, therefore different fathers.
The Final Gambit was different from the first two books. The stakes were much higher because Avery had so much more to lose, and there were new characters, new enemies, and even more secrets to uncover. There were multiple reasons why Tobias Hawthorne disinherited his entire family, but the main reason was pretty selfish.
Overall, I absolutely loved The Inheritance Games trilogy. The original mystery, unforgettable characters, and endless secrets made it such an exciting reading experience. However, I personally think the original trilogy is the strongest part of the series. The fourth book did not have the same feeling for me and was not as enjoyable, so I would recommend stopping after the third book.
Out of 5 stars, I give this trilogy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars. It is definitely a series I would recommend to anyone and everyone.
